- Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
- Location: Geneva, NY (Finger Lakes Region)
- Supervises:
CT Scanning, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Cardiology,
Radiology-Diagnostic, Interventional Radiology, Peripheral Vascular,
Women’s Diagnostic Service.
- Education: Minimum: BS Degree required
- Preferred: Masters in Business or related field
- License: NYS Radiologic Technologist or other relevant clinical license.
- Experience: Minimum: 5 years supervisory experience in Diagnostic Imaging and/or Cardiology
- Preferred: AHRA Certification.
- Minimum:
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex, multi-entity
health system. Ability to facilitate project management, work
effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities
and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
Familiarity with JCAHO, NYSDOH and other related regulatory
requirements. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication
(written and oral), analytical, and organizational skills. Demonstrated
ability to deal effectively with the public in a professional and
courteous manner. Computer literacy required with word processing,
spreadsheets, power point.
- Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Vice President& Site Administrator,
establishes and maintains quality and service for patients of the
Diagnostic Imaging/Cardiopulmonary/Scheduling Service departments. This
includes the planning, directing, coordinating and evaluating of the
diagnostic imaging and cardiopulmonary activities consistent with
organizational management practices and in compliance with established
organization and department policies, procedures, standards and
regulations. Responsibilities include Diagnostic Imaging throughout the
enterprise, Cardiac Rehabilitation throughout the enterprise,
Cardiopulmonary Services at GGH enterprise wide Scheduling Services and
Respiratory Care at SSMH. Serves on Corporate Compliance Committee,
Radiation Safety Committee and other commities as assigned.
