Director of Medical/Surgical - Henderson, NC

Job Summary

• You will assume 24-hour responsibility in directing and coordinating safe, efficient, and therapeutically effective nursing care for patients on the assigned unit/ department
• You will assist in helping to drive local and organizational wide initiatives and delegate functions in compliance with hospital and nursing service policies, processes protocols and procedures
  
• You will assist in the management of unit budget and participate in and comply with the hospitals service excellence/ patient experience program
• You will provide safe and effective patient care based upon the nursing process, standards of practice and in compliance with hospital policies, protocols and procedures as indicated

Qualifications

5+ years in clinical nursing; preferably in Medical/Surgical.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Previous clinical director experience in a hospital setting.

A current North Carolina or compact stated Registered Nurse (RN) license is required upon hire.
