Job Description

Responsible for ensuring that the plant's systems and
equipment are functioning properly and efficiently. This includes
planning, designing, installing, testing, troubleshooting, and improving
electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems. A
plant engineer also coordinates with other engineers, technicians,
operators, and managers to optimize the plant's performance and meet the
production goals and quality standards.

Plant Engineer is responsible for a wide range of duties, depending on the
size, type, and complexity of the plant. These can include conducting
regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve any issues or
defects, developing and implementing maintenance plans to ensure the
safety of operations, evaluating and recommending new technologies to
improve efficiency and productivity, preparing and managing budgets,
contracts, and reports for engineering projects, providing technical
support and guidance to staff and contractors on engineering matters,
and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, regulations, and
policies.

Qualifications

Experience in running a manufacturing maintenance department.

Engineering degree; Mechanical; chemical or industrial engineering.

Experience & proven record of coming up with failure analysis.
